Last updated: 19 September 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our websites or buying any of our products, events or programs. By purchasing from us or taking part in our offerings, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
The brands Bali Breathwork and Melanie Lopes are operated by Sacred Movement LP, a limited partnership registered in Scotland under registration number SL037189, whose registered office is at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN ("we", "us", "our").
You can contact us at contact@balibreathwork.com.
2. Definitions
"Services" means all products, content and experiences we offer, including live online events, the Daily Breathwork digital product, the Reclaim Her program, free resources, and our communities.
"You" / "Participant" means the person purchasing or taking part in the Services.
"Digital Content" means any downloadable or streamed material, including audio, video and written practices.
3. Our Services
We offer, among other things:
Live online events — group breathwork and women's circle sessions (typically 90 minutes)
Daily Breathwork — a self-paced digital practice bundle of guided sessions
Reclaim Her — our multi-week women's program
Free resources, community groups, and occasional workshops
Specific details, inclusions, dates and prices are described at the point of sale. Those details form part of these Terms.
Please note: international retreats are not covered by these Terms and are subject to their own separate terms and booking conditions.
4. Booking and payment
All prices are shown at checkout and are payable in full at the time of booking, unless a payment plan is expressly offered.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Our main currency is GBP (£). If you pay in another currency, your bank's exchange rate and any fees apply.
Your booking is confirmed once payment is received and we send you confirmation.
Where offered, payment plans allow you to pay in 2 or 3 instalments. You remain responsible for paying all instalments in full. If an instalment is missed, your access to the Service will be paused until payment is brought up to date. This does not affect your statutory rights or our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Access to digital content
On purchase of Digital Content, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access it for your own individual use.
You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, record, or make our content publicly available.
Access is provided for the duration stated at the point of sale. We aim to provide uninterrupted access but do not guarantee it.
All content is protected by copyright and remains our property (see section 9).
6. Health, safety and disclaimer
Please read this section carefully. Breathwork is a powerful practice with real physical and emotional effects.
Our Services are for general wellbeing and personal development purposes only. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, or a substitute for professional healthcare, and nothing we provide should be taken as medical or psychological advice.
Breathwork may not be suitable for everyone. It can be contraindicated for certain conditions, including (but not limited to) pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or seizure history, respiratory conditions, recent surgery, a history of aneurysm, and certain psychiatric conditions.
Before taking part, you must complete any health disclaimer / waiver we provide, and you must consult your doctor if you have any condition that may be affected by breathwork or intense emotional release.
You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for stopping, resting, or seeking help if you feel unwell at any time.
Emotional or somatic release may occur. If you are currently receiving mental health treatment, please consult your practitioner before participating.
In an emergency, always contact your local emergency services.
By participating, you confirm that you have read this disclaimer, completed any required health form truthfully, and accept the risks involved.
7. Participant responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information when booking and on any health form
Take part in a safe environment (seated or lying down, not while driving or operating machinery, not in or near water)
Respect the confidentiality, privacy and emotional safety of other participants
Behave respectfully in all sessions and community spaces
8. Community guidelines
Our communities (including WhatsApp groups) are safe, supportive spaces. We reserve the right to remove any participant who is abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, or who breaches the privacy of others, without refund. What is shared by members in these spaces should be treated as confidential and not shared outside the group.
9. Intellectual property
All content, materials, methodologies, recordings, practices, branding and written work provided by us are the intellectual property of Sacred Movement LP (or our licensors) and are protected by law. You may not reproduce, distribute, teach, resell or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
10. Cancellation, refunds and your cooling-off rights
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right for services and digital content bought at a distance. Where you ask us to begin providing a service or give you immediate access to digital content within that period, you may lose or reduce that right. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Cancellation or changes by us
We may occasionally need to reschedule, change the format of, or cancel an event or program. If we cancel an event you have paid for and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will provide a refund for that event.
We may substitute facilitators or teachers where necessary while maintaining the quality of the experience.
We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see section 13).
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Service will not exceed the amount you paid for that Service.
You acknowledge that results are personal and not guaranteed; wellbeing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
13. Events beyond our control (force majeure)
We are not responsible for failure or delay in delivering our Services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including illness, technical failures, acts of God, or government restrictions. In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide an alternative.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on our website at the time of your purchase.
These Terms have been prepared for Sacred Movement LP following standard UK consumer and data-protection requirements. They are provided in good faith and do not constitute legal advice. We recommend having them reviewed by a qualified professional if your circumstances change materially.
